Mentoring -
I support clients to develop their confidence in producing coherent texts that 'hang together' in order to communicate the overall idea of their message clearly and logically.
At the level of paragraphs and sentences, I assist clients to focus on the cohesion (logical linking) of words between and within sentences to strengthen the overall message of the text.
This skill does not only apply to academic writing but also to creative and transactional writing.
Facilitation -
I co-facilitate workshops in research methodology, programme evaluations and impact assessments to assist researchers in conducting negotiated, collaborative and developmental research.
I assist facilitators in designing PowerPoint presentations, in developing checklists and in formulating relevant performance indicators in order to ensure quality output.
